A warm welcome to Slade Nursery School

' to provide the best possible start for each child.'

Hello Parents and Carers,

Children and families are at the heart of all we do. Slade Nursery School nurtures children's wellbeing; provides a curriculum which will inspire, challenge and enrich their skills and knowledge; meets the individual needs of each child and family at this vital stage of discovery, growth and development.

We welcome children and families who need Nursery education and child care in Oxford, and families who may be moving to the UK from all round the world, into the Nursery community.  We provide a positive learning environment which helps the children integrate into their new surroundings with care and attention. We are proud of the diverse nursery community which has 14 languages spoken by the children .

Slade Nursery School offers funded places for two to four year olds, led by early years specialist teachers and nursery nurses during term time. Day Nursery provides a really good start for children from six months and wrap around care for nursery school children, all led by experienced staff

Slade Nursery School benefits from a wonderful purpose built building and amazing garden spaces.

Our website will provide you with information about our aims and values. It explains how we work and how the children will learn during their time with us.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to know more.
