The Slade Nursery School is seeking to recruit an experienced early year's support worker to cover Maternity leave for 1 year with a view to longer term employment if suitable.

 Job start We are looking to employ someone from May onwards with a view to providing on job training to prepare for this role.

(However the Senior Leadership Team may call suitable candidates before this date)

Contract/Hours:  37hrs a week, 48 weeks a year to cover maternity leave

 Salary: Grade 4 to 5 depending on experience Salary Scale: £25,185- £26,403 (pro rata)

 The Slade Day Nursery is a warm, child-centred environment and we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and committed to early year’s practitioner to work as part of an experienced team to support children of mixed ages.

Applicants will participate in providing a stimulating and nurturing environment that supports children to thrive. The nursery operates a key person approach, which develops quality relationships between staff, children and families.

The Day Nursery and Nursery school are co-located within a primary school in a purpose built building, offering wonderful opportunities for integrated community working. The school serves a diverse local community and works closely in partnership with parents.
